Influencing factor For Membrane Flux
For different kind of fluid, ceramic membrane may result in different filtration performance . The filtration flux and effiency is effected by several factors, like crossflow velocity, trans-membrane pressure (TMP), operating temperature, pH, VCF, pore size, etc.
Here is a rough curve for a sample filtration by means of ceramic membrane 100nm.
Note: The curve is just for reference. For different kind of liquid, the performance will totally different with different pore size. It is highly recommended that pilot tests be carried out to collect and check the feasibility of filtration parameter and factors.
