During the wool processing, scouring waste water mainly contains high suspended solid, grease, detergent, microorganism, among of which wool grease is always emulsified and suspended. The interaction may happens among the components in souring waste like COD、BOD、SS and Grease. It is complicated and uneconomical to deal with such effluent by normal process like DAF, biological method.
Membrane separation technology have been proved to be a simple and economical way for scouring waste treatment.
Without any chemical additives ,the high value wool grease can be easily recovered from the high COD effluent by ultrafiltration ceramic membranes with reliable performance.
