PV Membrane Dehydration for Acetone Hydrogenation
A customized pervaporation dehydration system for OEM partner was ready for delivery.
Tubular zeolite pervapoaration membrane and module were installed in the machine. During production of isopropanol, water will be generated in acetone hydrogenation reaction. Zeolite membrane can easily remove the water from the the light phase from the distillation column, so that the dehydrated IPA and acetone can be recycled back to hydrogenation reactor.
This membrane integrated process can increase reaction efficiency, reduce product loss and waste discharge.
